Diana Q. Pham, MD

Diana Q. Pham, M.D., is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist who focuses on inpatient rehab, amputee care, prosthetics, wound care, and limb preservation.

Her research interests include wound care and limb preservation.

“I believe in building strong connections with my patients by understanding their unique needs and fostering open communication,” she says. Dr. Pham was born in Arlington, Texas, to Vietnamese parents and has three older brothers. She wanted to become a doctor to make a positive impact on people’s lives.

After studying biology at Brown University, she attended medical school and completed her residency training at UT Southwestern Medical Center Dallas. She completed her internship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Before joining UVA Health, Dr. Pham worked in private practice specializing in wound care. Her experience includes treating post-surgical wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, venous ulcers, and trauma wounds

Outside of work, she stays busy taking care of her two young boys and loves hiking and spending time outside.
