UVA Postpartum Depression Study
The UVA Center for Psychiatric Clinical Research seeks adults, ages 18 to 45 who have given birth within the past 12 months experiencing postpartum depression. The purpose of the study is to test the efficacy of the study medication at an effective dose compared to a lower dose. The study involves taking an experimental medicine, blood draws, ECGs, and completing assessments during 12 study visits (8 in-person, 4 phone visits) over a period of about 2 months. Study-related exams, tests, procedures and experimental medication provided free of charge. Participants will be compensated for their time after each study visit.
