Adam Winick, MD, Selected as Fellow for the Society of Interventional Radiology

For his considerable leadership and service contributions to the field of Interventional Radiology, Adam Winick, MD, has recently been awarded fellowship status from the Society of Interventional Radiology.

Consistently throughout his career at George Washington University, Johns Hopkins University, and private practice, Dr. Winick has worked tirelessly for the promotion of Interventional Radiology and it’s important role in the delivery of high quality medical care in his local community. He has also made numerous contributions on a national level, through his efforts with the Society’s work group focusing on the need for documentation for adequate staffing and support structures for Interventional Radiology programs throughout the country.

Dr. Winick recently joined the faculty at the University of Virginia, where he will bring a tremendous amount of experience and perspective to the residents, fellows, and junior faculty in our department.
