At the American College of Radiology’s annual meeting on April 24-26 in Washington, D.C., UVA Radiology and Medical Imaging Professor and Chair Dr. Alan Matsumoto was elected as vice chair of the ACR’s Board of Chancellors.
Dr. Matsumoto has served as a member of the American College of Radiology Council Steering Committee and the college’s Board of Chancellors, most recently as chair of the Commission on Interventional and Cardiovascular Imaging. He is the first Asian American to be named vice chair.
