This week, UVA Radiology & Medical Imaging celebrate National Radiologic Technology Week ā€“ which observes and recognizes the important role that medical imaging professionals, including physicians, technologists, nurses, and a variety of LIPs, play in patient care and health care safety. The vast majority of patients who receive health care receive some type of imaging service ā€“ so our service line and our various teams have a major impact on health care quality and outcomes.
