
Julia Kariher, MD
1st-year Diagnostic Radiology resident Julia Kariher, MD, has been recognized for their outstanding and caring teaching and treatment.
Dr. Kariher is one of six winners at UVA of the 2024 Arnold P. Gold Foundation’s Resident Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award. The residents were acknowledged for exceptional teaching skills, as well as their commitment to the compassionate treatment of patients and patients’ families, students, and colleagues.
Honorees were nominated by the University of Virginia School of Medicine’s rising 3rd-year class. Each award winner is presented with a certificate and a specially designed gold lapel pin at the School of Medicine’s annual Becoming a Clinician ceremony.
