Every fall, the Division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology holds a symposium that provides medical students with an overview of the imaging, anatomy, pathology and treatments pertinent to Interventional Radiology (IR). Participants will learn about minimally-invasive, image-guided procedures through didactic lectures and hands-on simulations.
The 2024 IR Symposium will be held on Saturday, September 21 from 8:30am – 3:00pm, in Educational Resource Center A & B at the UVA Health Medical Center. This is a free event and breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Medical students of any year who are interested in IR are invited to attend—and undergraduate students are also welcome.
