John C. Marshall, Director of the Center for Research in Reproduction
John C. Marshall, MD, PhD, is the Andrew D. Hart Professor of Medical Science at the University of Virginia. Dr. Marshall was appointed Director of the Center for Research in Reproduction in December, 1996.
Dr. Marshall received his MD and PhD degrees at Victoria University of Manchester (UK). His research focuses on physiological control of gonadotropin subunit gene expression, and clinical studies on the origins of abnormal hypothalamic functions in polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
