Congratulations to Dr. Matthew Weber, who was selected for the American Association of Thoracic Surgery’s Cardiac Surgery Resident Investigator Award. His project titled, “Targeting the Cardio-Splenic Axis to Limit Cardiac Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury in Cardiomyocytes” received unanimous approval from the Board of Directors. Many thanks to Drs.
