The University of Virginia Department of Surgery is delighted to announce that UVA General Surgery Resident Dr. Katherine Marsh, MD, has been selected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Dr. Marsh is one of two residents chosen to serve nationwide. The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) is a not-for-profit organization that oversees the accreditation process for all graduate medical training programs.
