Jaelyn Munson is a native of Virginia, having grown up in Chesterfield County. She attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Sciences. She recently completed a Master’s degree in Applied Nutrition and Physical Activity with Virginia Tech.
Jaelyn has worked in the wellness field in various settings throughout her career and enjoys building collaborative relationships to further health initiatives. She enjoys focusing on diabetes education and prevention in her role with VCDPE as it has been a longtime career goal. In her spare time, Jaelyn enjoys hiking and trail biking with friends and family as well as baking for family gatherings.
