University of Virginia Amanda Kleiman, MD, Anesthesiology Liver & Transplant Division Chief

Dr. Amanda Kleiman is one of the two recipients for the 2022
Graduate Medical Master Educator Award.  She was nominated by numerous trainees and supported by Dr. Peggy McNaull and other anesthesiology faculty members.   This prestigious award recognizes and rewards individuals who have provided major contributions to Graduate Medical Education (GME) at the University of Virginia.  It is also a mechanism for channeling institutional investment into the careers of those exceptional teachers whose future efforts are expected to have significant additional influence on long-term resident training and education at UVA.  In 2021, Dr. Kleiman was announced as part of the Anesthesiology Education Leadership team and is the Director of Academic Performance and Exam Preparation.
