Our researchers are collaborating with colleagues from across the country on a new study to develop an online, self-directed intervention for survivors coping with sexual concerns following breast cancer treatment. Breast cancer survivors will be enrolled into the trial from oncology clinics across the U.S. through a strategic partnership with the Wake Forest Research Base of the NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP). More information is available here.
Right now, we are looking for women who may be interested in joining our Survivor Roundtable group (this is not a research activity):
WHO: Breast cancer survivors
WHAT: Share your opinions about new educational materials on sexual health and
intimacy for breast cancer survivors
WHEN: Flexible monthly invitations to share your ideas beginning May 2023
WHERE: Online & by phone
WHY: Your voice matters!
To join this Survivor Roundtable group, or for more information about this
opportunity, please email us at shine@uvahealth.org
