Mission
Overview
The Center for Excellence in Education aims to organize, advance, promote, and recognize the
educational mission across the University of Virginia School of Medicine. The mission is carried out through five committees which collectively address key strategic pillars of community, faculty development, scholarship, excellence, and innovation.
CEE Leadership
The CEE operates within the Department of Medical Education in the School of Medicine. Overall leadership and development of strategic priorities are provided by an executive Steering Committee that includes representation from key constituents. The day-to-day work is coordinated through the five committees which are open to AEE members.
