Jessica McCay, MPH

Jessica is a Navigation Outreach Specialist within the Cancer Center’s Community Outreach and Engagement team. Jessica assists our patients by removing barriers to help them obtain cancer screening services and provides support in navigating cancer-related needs. In addition, she helps build awareness and promote educational activities in our community to increase prevention and early detection of cancer. Before joining UVA, Jessica worked as a program coordinator and navigator with the Medical University of South Carolina Head and Neck Cancer team. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Limestone University, and a Master’s of Public Health from the Medical University of South Carolina. During her spare time, Jessica enjoys baking, going on hikes with her dog, and traveling.
