Personal Activities:
John is a devoted family man who finds joy in spoiling his grandchildren. As a two-time leukemia survivor, he embraces life with resilience and gratitude. John’s passion for cycling has not only led him to become a USA Olympic Cycling Coach but has also taken him on remarkable journeys across diverse landscapes, including Maryland, New Mexico, Montana, Florida, Northern California, Death Valley, and from Raleigh, NC, to Richmond, VA. Many of these rides involved raising awareness for Type 1 Diabetes through Breakthrough T1D (JDRF) and his family’s charity, DoRights.org, where they strive to make a positive impact in the community.
