Mohammadreza Ganji

Ph.D. Candidate

Mohammadezra Ganji, who also goes by Mo, is a Ph.D. candidate in Systems Engineering at the University of Virginia. In 2020, he completed his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Control Systems at Shahid Beheshti University.

Professional Activities: Currently, he is working on modeling metabolism of patients with Type 2 Diabetes as well as researching algorithm design for insulin optimization in Diabetes. His research interests include human digital twins, therapy personalization and mental health, control theory, statistical analysis, and optimization techniques.

Personal Activities: In his free time, Mo likes to go to the gym, cook, and attempt to solve a Rubik’s cube.
