Statement from the EVP’s office:
“Alpha Omega Alpha, the only national medical school honor society, selected John Riordan, Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Vice-Chair of Clinical Operations, as a 2021 Fellow in Leadership. This highly competitive national fellowship recognizes mid-career physicians with great leadership potential, and it funds a year-long project to further their leadership skills. This grant will fund Riordan’s project to expand the integration of Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) into a restructured post-clerkship phase of medical school curriculum.”
