Emergency Medicine Faculty Win at AAEM/MEMC International Conference

Congratulations to our Emergency Medicine research team! At the recent AAEM/MEMC international conference in Malta, they won an award for “Best Research Presentation.” Furthermore, Dr. Joshua Easter and Kunal Agarwal, former UVA medical student and current EM resident at Miami, won for their work on “Postgraduate training of academic emergency medicine physicians.” Other UVA Emergency Medicine faculty were also in attendance at the conference: Drs. Robert O’Connor, Amita Sudhir, William Brady, Christopher Holstege, George Glass, and Joshua Easter.
