Dr. Chris Holstege Debunks Vitamin A Efficacy For Measles

“Vitamin A cannot prevent measles. Vaccines are what prevent us from getting measles,” said Christopher Holstege, MD, medical director of the BRPC. “Vitamin A is an essential nutrient, but like any substance, the dose matters. Toxicity depends on how much is taken and over what period of time. There are well-established guidelines for the proper intake of vitamins.”
