- We anticipate twice yearly disbursement in April and October.
- The submission deadline for the spring disbursement is April 1.
- The submission deadline for the fall disbursement is October 1.
- The award does not pay for the faculty member’s time off, but CME time can be used for it.
- Award funds can be used for needs such as travel, accommodation, materials, and training fees.
- Requests up to $2000 will be considered.
- Understanding that our families’ wellbeing is intricately tied to our own, the spirit of this award is to facilitate personal experiences that will inform and grow the faculty member’s wellbeing and professional work. Unfortunately we are not able to support family endeavors.
- Applications will be reviewed and award recipients selected by the Peter Ham Memorial Fund Committee.
- Any faculty member in the UVA Department of Family Medicine.
