Our Division

Mohan Nadkarni, MD, known to all as “Mo,” is the Harry T. Peters Jr. Professor of Medicine and a David A. Harrison Distinguished Educator at the UVA School of Medicine. In 2011, Dr. Nadkarni became head of the General Internal Medicine Section of the Division of General Medicine, Geriatrics & Palliative Care; and in 2014, he succeeded Margaret Plews-Ogan, MD, as chief of the expanded UVA Division of General, Geriatric & Palliative Care. Dr. Nadkarni has a long and varied list of accomplishments and connections here at UVA and throughout our local community.

UVA Division of General, Geriatric & Palliative Medicine administrative offices are on the 6th Floor of the Outpatient Clinics Building on Hospital Drive in UVA Medical Center’s West Complex.
