Ultrasound

The Vimedix ultrasound simulator, developed by CAE Healthcare, is designed to equip learners with an understanding of bedside ultrasound use and related skills.  The simulator promotes acquisition and fine-tuning of transthoracic, transesophageal, and FAST ultrasound skills.

• Realistic tactile features including depressible abdomen, palpable ribs and sternum, and depressible interspaces
• Color and pulsed wave Doppler
• 3D animated augmented reality feature
• Surrounding anatomical structures may be toggled on/off depending on learner level
