More kudos to Anne Kenworthy, elected to the Council of the Biophysical Society

The Department congratulates Anne Kenworthy on this great honor!

Anne Kenworthy, PhD, was elected to the Council of the Biophysical Society. Consisting of 7,500 members, the Biophysical Society is a professional, scientific society established to lead an innovative global community working at the interface of the physical and life sciences, across all levels of complexity, and to foster the dissemination of that knowledge. She will serve a three-year term, beginning on February 13, 2024.

Kenworthy is a professor in the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biological Physics and associate director of the Center for Membrane and Cell Physiology. Her research focuses on the architecture of biological membranes.
