The Otolaryngology Research Project Incubator (ORPI) is a departmental database repository designed to collect novel research ideas that could subsequently be initiated as new projects. Research ideas are entered via a REDCap survey link installed on faculty smartphones along with pertinent project-related information and an assessment of resources needed to initiate the project. With the assistance of departmental research staff, ideas are then matched with interested resident/medical student research teams to launch new research projects.
