Welcome Two New MPBP Faculty

I am excited to announce that September 2024 marks the beginning of two new chapters for our department.

Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Dr. Ming-Feng Tsai and Dr. Jarred Whitlock.

Dr. Ming-Feng Tsai, Associate Professor, brings extensive experience in mitochondrial biology and calcium transport, with a solid background in biophysics, cell biology, and physiology. His expertise will be a valuable asset to our community (http://www.tsaislab.org/). Feel free to introduce yourself and help him feel at home; his office is in Snyder 253.

Dr. Jarred Whitlock,  Assistant Professor, has a strong background in physiology, cell biology, and membrane fusion in bone and skeletal muscles, which will greatly enhance our department ( https://www.whitlocklab.com/). His labs are located in rooms 4223 and 4225 in Pinn Annex. Please reach out to Jarred to introduce yourself and make him feel welcome.

We look forward to the fresh perspectives and energy both Ming-Feng and Jarred will bring to our department. Welcome aboard, Ming-Feng and Jarred!

Best wishes,
