Tamm Postdoctoral Research Awards

The Tamm Postdoctoral Research Award will be given annually to recognize the exceptional contributions of two Postdoctoral Research Associates in any year of service or Research Scientists in their first two years of service in the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biological Physics at UVA. Each recipient, one in the general area of physiology and the other in the general area of biophysics, will receive a cash prize of $1,000 and will be invited to present their work at the MPBP Research Retreat. The selection committee may elect to also give a runner up prize of $500 in one or the other area.
