Minor Graduate Award

Minor Graduate Award was established by Dr. Wladek Minor, our beloved longtime colleague at the department of Molecular Physiology and Biological Physics. This award is given each year to a graduate student in the Physiology or Biophysics Program, who is the (co) first author on what is judged to be the “best” paper published in the previous calendar year.  All graduate students in either program are eligible, including those who have finished their PhD and left the department or university.  Call for nomination will be sent out in July. The nomination should come from the mentor and judged by an ad hoc Faculty panel in August-Sept. The award is $1,000 in cash and will be announced at our annual department retreat in October.
