Research Description
My research is aimed towards understanding the role of microtubules, motors and components of membrane domains in Clathrin Independent Endocytosis (CIE) of growth factor receptors and other cargoes including bacterial toxins. In addition, I am also involved in studies aimed towards understanding the partitioning of proteins associated with Alzheimer’s disease and receptors for bacterial toxins, between raft and non-rafts domains of plasma membrane.
