Associate Professor of Radiology and Medical Imaging Carrie Rochman, MD, has earned recognition from the University of Virginia for her breast imaging work.
Dr. Rochman was featured as the “Woman of the Month” by the UVA School of Medicine’s Committee on Women in Medicine and Science (COWIMS).
“[Dr. Rochman’s] passion is ot make a positive impact on the quality of care and to help women,” according to the feature. “Knowing that breast cancer touches all of us from family to close friends, she is motivated to give back and provide a patient-centric approach to care that is personalized and tailored based on the patient’s individual factors.”
