Dr. Sheynkman was awarded one of three research awards at the June 2022 American Society for Mass Spectrometry conference in Minneapolis, MN. These awards are given annually to young researchers within their first four years of joining their faculty positions. Her proposal, “Targeted mass spectrometry approaches to illuminate the alternative proteome” was granted $35,000 and was sponsored by Thermo Fisher Scientific.
