UVA Surgery recently participated in a community event to welcome students to Grounds for a hands-on day of learning. Our annual Boys & Girls Club Medical Day Camp took place on November 4th, 2024. This collaborative effort between UVA Surgery, Anesthesiology, Pathology, and the Boys & Girls Club of Central Virginia gave students the opportunity to explore healthcare through interactive workshops. They practiced intubation, CPR, stitching, and organ identification. A big thank you to everyone who helped organize and lead this wonderful event!
