Hi! My name is Thomas, and I am very excited to be here in Charlottesville! I grew up in Oregon, but have been journeying further Eastward since. I went to college in St. Louis before attending medical school at the University of Virginia (UVA). What drew me to UVA the was the kindness of the people here. From the day I interviewed for medical school, I have found the UVA community to be a warm and inviting one, and I hope you will as well.

My career goal is a life as an anesthesiologist, but I am very excited to be doing an intern year with the UVA Surgery Department! In my spare time, I enjoy hiking with my lovely partner Michaela, trivia nights (music trivia is my specialty), weightlifting, and the occasional video game. If you ever need a trivia partner or want advice on good hiking spots around Charlottesville, let me know!
