Education

The Center is closely aligned with the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Cancer Biology and participates actively in the Department’s graduate training program. Center faculty also participate in several interdisciplinary training programs throughout the University including programs in Cell and Molecular Biology, Biophysics, Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology, Infectious Disease, Immunology, Biotechnology, and Molecular Medicine. Perspective graduate students interested in working in the Center should apply directly to a specific graduate program.

The Center in conjuction with the Center for Global Health also provides training for postdoctoral fellows in the various laboratories of its center. Postdoctoral research projects vary according to the interests of the individual faculty mentors.
