This annual award presents an opportunity to recognize full-time faculty members who go the extra mile to instill in students/trainees the virtues of scholarship and a passion for learning. It is very rare for a physician at the UVA School of Medicine to be named a Jefferson Scholar. Congratulations to Dr. Julie Huffmyer for being honored with this very prestigious award at the University of Virginia.
