Please join us for a Celebration of Research on Tuesday May 14th and Wednesday May 15th. The annual event is presented by the University of Virginia Department of Anesthesiology and the School of Medicine to showcase this year’s research. Everyone is welcome to learn more about the department’s research efforts, enjoy a chat with colleagues, and support other researchers who have contributed greatly to our research mission.
The Keynote Speaker is Dr. David O. Warner, MD, Emeritus Professor of Anesthesiology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Dr. Warner will present on these topics: “My Accidental Research Career,” “Deadliest Catch: Substance Use Disorder in Anesthesiologists,” & “Professionalism Writ Large: Amplifying Your Influence.”
