GH-keep but don’t use

In addition to the Global Health resident participation programs, our Department has multiple other ongoing global health initiatives:

• Human Resources for Health
  • Together with the Department of Surgery, we participate in a very large-scale training program in Rwanda that sends teaching faculty for longer periods of time, in order to help build capacity. The department has sent 4 faculty for durations of 6 months to 2 years.

• • Dr. Thomas Pajewski has worked in the development of a spine surgery program in Ethiopia.
