Fees charged to qualifying investigators will automatically receive a co-pay from the Cancer Center.

School of Medicine Core Facilities are required to review rates at minimum on an annual basis, and rates are subject to change without notice.

Users with long-term projects should anticipate some increase in cost over the course of the study and budget accordingly.

Reciprocal access to the BTRF and other UVA Core Facilities is available to researchers at partner institutions of higher education within the Commonwealth of Virginia. Affiliates of these institutions are eligible for the UVA internal service rate. Institutions included in this agreement are Virginia Commonwealth University, College of William & Mary, George Mason University, Eastern Virginian Medical School, Old Dominion University, and Virginian Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Rates for users outside of UVA who are not covered by the reciprocal agreement reflect a 61.5% Facilities and Administrative surcharge
