In partnership with the Thomas Jefferson Health District and University of Virginia Cancer Center, the Tobacco Free Community Coalition has launched a Youth Tobacco Use Toolkit. This toolkit was developed in response to local demands from schools and parents to learn about the dangers of electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS), like e-cigarettes, vapes, and JUULs.
TFCC is also offering free in-person trainings on tobacco and nicotine use prevention for schools, parents, and community members.
A Train the trainer meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 20th, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at the Health Department (1138 Rosehill Drive, Entrance #3). If you, or someone at your organization, is interested in being trained please email cvilletfcc@gmail.com.
