Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in the U.S., but it’s almost always treatable if found early.
Get a free skin cancer screening by a UVA dermatologist and learn about skin cancer protection.
All are welcome, but we recommend the screening, especially for people with:
– Frequent sun or UV light exposure
– A family history of skin cancer
– A mole that has changed in shape, color or size
– A sore that won’t heal
Bring a baseball cap or visor to exchange for a new sun hat while supplies last.

A UVA Cancer Center Community Outreach and Engagement team member plans to attend to provide cancer prevention and early detection resources for the community.
