The University of Virginia is participating in a national COVID-19 study for college students in which participating students will receive the Moderna vaccine. The study is co-directed by Dr. Eric Houpt, Chief of UVA’s Division of Infectious Diseases and International Health, and Dr. Chris Holstege, Executive Director of UVA Student Health. Dr. Holstege is also a Professor of Emergency Medicine and Chief of UVA’s Division of Medical Toxicology.
