Dr. James Moak celebrated his promotion to Professor of Emergency Medicine on August 13th amongst other School of Medicine faculty receiving promotions.
Dr. Moak has been with the Department for 16 years and has been a pivotal leader in medical education and community outreach. He is particularly active as the Director of the Fourth-Year Phase 3 Required Rotation and as the lead faculty member for Spanish Ground Rounds. He has received numerous awards for his clinical and teaching excellence.
Other Emergency Medicine faculty in attendance at the celebration included Drs. Amita Sudhir, Nathan Charlton, and Brit Long.
