Research Description
Dr. Shah's research interests include coagulation in liver disease. He is the lead author in the Up To Date section on this topic. This includes blood product usage in liver disease patients, coagulation measures, and the study of hypercoaguability in liver disease. His interests also include liver transplantation and outcomes. He has been involved in viral hepatitis studies and studies regarding hepatic encephalopathy. Finally, he is also involved in medical education research, specifically involving technology and active learning modules.
