Congratulations to Elias Spiliotis for his $2.4 Million NIH Grant to Study Septin Proteins in Cells

Elias Spiliotis, PhD, a CMCP member and professor in the Department of Cell Biology, has been awarded a $2.4 million grant from the NIH National Institute of General Medical Sciences for his research about the role of septin proteins in cells and its impact on disease pathogenesis. The five-year grant marks the continuation of funding for years 6-10 of this research.
