Celia McKee publishes in Frontiers in Immunology

John Lukens selected for editorial board

December 27, 2016 — John was selected to participate on the editorial board for the journal Brain, Behavior, and Immunity.

Lab receives Annette Lightner Research Award!

August 18, 2016 – The lab received an Annette Lightner Research Award to support a project ascertaining the role of dendritic cell-mediated SYK signaling in the development of multiple sclerosis and how this pathway may be manipulated to provide novel MS treatment options.

Nature Medicine Published Paper!

August 4, 2016 — Elizabeth and John published “The brain’s reward circuitry regulates immunity” in Nature Medicine’s News and Views section, a review explaining recent findings that further demonstrate how psychological health and physical health are intertwined.

UVA seed grant awarded

May 10, 2016 – The lab was awarded a University of Virginia Research and Development seed grant to explore how dysregulated IL-1 production contributes to traumatic brain injury.

 

Calli Bellinger receives award
