Karen E. Singh, MD, FASE
Dr. Singh specializes in the care of patients undergoing cardiothoracic anesthesia, as well as performing and teaching perioperative TEE and point-of-care cardiac ultrasound. She has NBE Advanced Perioperative and ABA Adult Cardiac Anesthesiology board certification. She is the director of the Anesthesiology Perioperative TEE Service, leads the multidisciplinary cardiac surgery patient blood management group and is involved in ERAS for cardiac surgery at UVA. She has been active on ASE and SCA committees.
