Jessica Zvara, MD
Dr. Jessica Zvara recently joined the University of Virginia (UVA) Department of Anesthesiology as an Assistant Professor. After Dr. Zvara obtained her Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale University, she went on to earn her Medical Degree from the University Of North Carolina School Of Medicine in Chapel Hill. She completed her internship and residency at Stanford University School of Medicine. Her fellowship in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesia was completed at Duke University School of Medicine in 2019.
Prior to joining the faculty at UVA, Dr. Zvara was an Assistant Professor within the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at George Washington University School of Medicine. During her tenure at George Washington School of Medicine, Dr. Zvara was awarded the Teacher of the Year award for her efforts in 2021-2022.
