Lynda T. Wells, MD, FRCA
Dr. Wells joined the University of Virginia Department of Anesthesiology in January 2005. She completed her anesthesiology training at Oxford University in England in 1993. Dr. Wells started her career in the US in 1993 at the University of Texas Houston Medical Center in Houston, TX, where she served on faculty as a pediatric anesthesiologist. In 1998, she moved to the University of Texas San Antonio Medical Center where she continued her career in pediatric anesthesia and founded a multi-disciplinary Acute Pain Service for adults and children.
At UVA she practices both pediatric anesthesia and pain medicine. Dr. Wells’ interests include pediatric pain medicine, quality improvement, liver transplant, global health and physician health and wellbeing.
