Free Skin Cancer Screening (Registration Required) @ UVA Dermatology
May 7 @ 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
*Registration required. Call 800.223.9173.*
Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in the U.S., but it’s almost always treatable if found early.
Get a free skin cancer screening by a UVA dermatologist and learn about skin cancer protection.
All are welcome, but we recommend the screening especially for people with:
– Frequent sun or UV light exposure
– A family history of skin cancer
– A mole that has changed in shape, color or size
– A sore that won’t heal
Bring a baseball cap or visor to exchange for a new sun hat, while supplies last.
Parking is always free for patients in the 11th Street Garage. The screening is in the UVA Primary Care Center, 1221 Lee Street, Third Floor, Charlottesville, VA 22903.
