Thaddee Valdelievre, MD

Thaddee Valdelievre grew up in Virginia Beach and stayed in Virginia through training as an anesthesiologist.  He worked in Lynchburg, Virginia, for about two years before returning to UVA for a fellowship in medical education, and later stayed on as faculty.  In 2023, Dr. Valdelievre left UVA for an academic position in central Texas, and returned to the mountains of central Virginia this Spring. His academic interests include anesthesia for neurological surgery, resident and medical student education, and use of simulation in medical education.
